The year 2014 marks 50 years since the inception of the Delden Manufacturing brand – Manufacturer and distributor of garage doors, electric openers, parts and accessories in America’s Midwest. While the company itself was founded in 1956 by Gene Renner, the Delden brand was established In 1964 in Kansas City, MO. Delden is named for Dee Layne, Dennis and Denise, his three children. Today, Delden has door centers in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Camdenton in MO, Wichita in KS and Des Moines in IA. In 2003, Renner assumed the position of CEO and appointed his daughter, Denise Dahms, to be President of Delden.
