Garage Doors are Proving to be the Best Return of Investment on Home Improvement Projects

For the Second Year in a Row, Remodeling Magazine’s Cost vs. Value Report Rates Garage Door Replacement Projects as Having the Highest ROI (97.5%) for a Major Household Project

Remodeling Magazine’s 2019 Cost vs. Value Report has once again revealed how fruitful a garage door replacement can be for home owners when it comes to the return on investment. According to the report, a garage door replacement returns a whopping 97.5% of the investment cost for a homeowner, which is truly remarkable. The report reveals that a garage door replacement not only increases the aesthetic value and curb appeal of the property, but also pays back greatly when selling that property.

“97.5 percent is the highest recoup value of any upscale home improvement project in the report and to put it plainly, if you invest $3,000 in a garage door, $2,925 of that is added to the value of your home,” said Brad Dodson, director of marketing for Delden, while talking about the findings of the 2019 Cost vs. Value Report. “At Delden Manufacturing Company, we hire quality people driven to produce superior garage doors and we carefully craft locally sourced materials to create products to use in homes and businesses throughout the U.S.” he added. This report reveals that garage doors are an important part of a home and homeowners should focus more on their garage door when it comes to home improvement before selling the property.

Based in Kansas City, Delden Manufacturing Company is a leading supplier of garage doors and has been in business since 1964. Delden is a family owned and operated business with a dedicated staff of more than a hundred people in its five branches throughout the Midwest, with door centers in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Osage Beach in Missouri, and Des Moines IA. The 2019 Cost vs. Value Report by Remodeling Magazine ranks garage door replacement as the top home upscale improvement projects with the highest percentage of cost recouped when the home is sold.
